Swearing-in Ceremony for Saturday 12/29/07

At the December meeting of the Evans Democratic Club, Supervisor-elect Fran Pordum announced the upcoming swearing-in ceremony for the recently elected Town officials.  The public is invited to attend this event at the Town Hall on Saturday, December 29 at 1 p.m.

Pordum will take the oath of office administered by longtime friend, Hon. Thomas S. Kolbert, a Town justice in Cheektowaga. 

Paul Cooper, who was re-elected to the Town Board, will take an oath from his brothers, the Hon. Timothy Cooper and the Hon. Michael Cooper.  The former is a Town justice in Evans and the latter is a Town justice in Eden.

The Hon. Timothy Cooper will also administer an oath to his longtime colleague, Hon. Anthony Barone, who was re-elected in November.  Justice Cooper will also swear in Keith Dash, who was newly elected in November to term on the Town Board.

The event will be followed by a short reception in the Town Hall atrium where coffee and cookies will be served.
