Evans Democratic Club Officials Sworn In

The Evans Democratic Club held its 2007 organizational meeting at the VFW on Tuesday, January 15, 2008.  Evans Town Clerk Carol Meissner administered the oath of office to the following officers elected for 2008:

President: Jonica DiMartino
Vice-president: Patricia Latimore
Treasurer: Michelle Parker
Recording Secretary: Kathy Bartus
Corresponding Secretary: Gert Jerozal
Trustees:  Ross Guarino, Mark Parker and Karen Erickson

The Club issued an endorsement for the candidacy of New York Senator Hillary Clinton, for the February presidential primary. This is scheduled for "Super Duper Tuesday" on February 5, which is the nation's first quasi-national primary when a total of 1,688 delegates will be pledged by the results of that day's votes.  

Keep in mind that January 29 is the last date to postmark your application for an absentee ballot.  February 4 is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot in person.
