The February meeting of the Evans Democratic Club was held at the VFW on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.  Vice-president Patty Latimore presided over the meeting. 

The Club acknowledge the donation of $50 by Erie County Legislator Bob Reynolds, towards the first prize for the March 2008 Irish Hooley raffle.  Club member Matt Rzepka donated another $50 for the first prize, which will be $100 in lottery tickets.  Club member and fundraising Chair Mark Parker donated the expense of the Hooley raffle tickets.

The business portion of the meeting included ideas about fundraising.  Several of the club members signed up as volunteers for those efforts this year.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 7:30 at the VFW on Route 5 near Jubilee.  The Irish Hooley drawing will be held that evening, and Irish soda bread will served as part of the meeting's refreshments.
