Cabinet post
with the
Obama
White House.
Chair
Catalino
discussed
the recent
turnout for
the election
in the
Town of
Evans.
"Nearly
every Democratic
candidate won
in the Town
of Evans.
President-elect
Obama
carried
Evans, as
did
Congressman
Higgins,
and judicial
candidates
Hon. John
Michalek and
Hon. Tracey
Higgins.
State Senate
candidate
Kathy Konst
did not
carry the
entire
district
held by
incumbent
Senator
Voelker, but
she carried
the Town of
Evans by
1,000
votes."
Over one
hundred Town
residents
registered
with the
Democratic
Party
before the
recent
election. All
Democrats in
the Town are
invited
to the Evans
Democratic Club's
holiday
mixer at the
VFW
on Tuesday,
December 16
at 7:30 p.m.
Attendees
are asked to
bring a
plate of
cookies or
other
holiday
favorites.
Proceeds
that night
from a 50/50
split club
will go to
the VFW for
their
holiday food
basket
drive.
