| MARCH 2007 MEETING _ ST. PATRICK'S DAY RAFFLE (02/25/07)
Beannachtai na Feile Padraig (Happy
St. Patrick's Day) to all! In honor of the high holy day, the Evans
Democratic Club held its annual Irish Hooley raffle at the March
meeting on Tuesday, March 13 at the VFW Post 5798.
Go raibh míle maith agat (many
thanks) to all participants -- the raffle was completely sold out.
The Club thanks member Joe Logalbo for donating the
printing of the raffle tickets.
John Latimore of Schiavone
Funeral Home donated the third prize, a six-pack of
Guinness. The winner: Christine Zakusylo.
Evans Town Councilman Paul
Cooper donated the second prize, a bottle of Bailey's
Irish Creme. The winner: Brad DiMartino.
County Legislator Robert
Reynolds donated the first prize, a $100 bouquet of
lottery tickets. The winner: Bob Bartus. No
word yet as to whether Bob turned his $1 ticket into a lottery
fortune.
Save the date: The
Club's annual picnic is confirmed, for Sunday, August 5th at 1
p.m., at Evans
Town Park . See you there!
The Evans Democratic Club exists to
assist the Democratic Committee to recruit, elect, and support
good leaders to govern and guide this community. The money raised
by the Club helps support candidates in this election year. If
you are a Democratic Party member interested in joining the
Democratic Club for the Town of Evans , then come to the

The April meeting will be held on Tuesday,
April 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW Post 5798,
