The Evans Democratic Committee has endorsed candidates for state, county and town elected positions.  At the state level, for State Supreme Court the Committee endorses the candidacy of Hon. Shirley Troutman, Hon. John O'Donnell and supports the cross-endorsement of Hon. Christopher Burns.

At the county level, the Committee endorsed incumbents Bob Reynolds for the County Legislator - 12th District, Mark Poloncarz for County Comptroller, and Captain John Glascott for Erie County Sheriff.  After the Giambra red-and-green budget fiasco, Reynolds was first elected to the position.  In 2009 he fought the current county executive Collins' proposed tax increase.  Recently he became Chair of the Legislature's Finance & Management Committee.  Poloncarz has served one term with a stellar record of saving taxpayer dollars.  Glascott is a police captain with over 30 years experience, including jail and personnel management.

At the town level, the Committee endorsed Jonica DiMartino for the open seat of Town Clerk and Hon. Timothy Cooper for re-election as Town Justice.  It also cross-endorsed incumbents Diana Cafferty, Receiver of Taxes and Ed Michalski, Highway Superintendent.  DiMartino and Cooper are also cross-endorsed.  DiMartino will be on all five lines this November: Democratic, Republican, Working Families, Independence and Conservative.  She has served as Deputy Town Clerk for three and a half years and brings to the position a background in banking and finance.
