A.B.A.T.E. Fundraiser - 11/6/11

The Evans Democratic candidates held a party at Scallywag's on 11/6/11 that raised money for A.B.A.T.E.- Buffalo-Erie, an organization of American Bikers Aimed Toward Education.  The event was in honor of David Brown, a co-founder of Scallywag's who died this past summer. 

"It's important to spread the word about motorcycle safety," said Howard M. "Hub" Frawley, candidate for Town Supervisor and current mayor of Angola.  "Better awareness and education will make riding safer."  He thanked everyone who helped out with the event, including Scallywag's owner Deebe Brown.

Also participating in the event were Town Board candidates Paul Cooper and Dennis Feldmann.  Cooper is a current Board member and Feldmann will be retiring from the Evans Police Department to work full-time as a Board member.
